"It's a real bummer for us and our customers," said a representative from Mitchell's. "We rely on a steady power supply to keep our coffee machines running and our customers happy. This unexpected outage has left us in a tricky situation."

As thunderstorms rolled through the region, additional outages were reported in North Lakeland, impacting around 100 more customers. Mary Beth Scott, a spokeswoman for Lakeland Electric, assured the public that their crews are working diligently to address the issue.
