with a full year of mentoring. In our 10th year.As seen in FuturesMagazine, Technical Analysis of Stocks Commodities Magazine, Active Trader Magazine, Trader's World Magazine, Traders Dot Com Magazine, Traders Source Magazine, Stocks Futures & Options Magazine, eSignal.com. Learn during your first 3 days. Trade during days. I've worked with hundreds of daytraders who were struggling to become consistently profitable Here's what I've observed over the last decade about the learning process most daytraders go through: Most daytraders buy charting software such as Neoticker, Metastock, Ensign, Aspen Graphics, AIQ, eSignal, Realtick, TC2000, Genesis, SuperCharts, or TradeStation. Then they try out all the indicators and daytrading systems that come with the software. After a few months the daytrader realizes that none of these canned indicators or daytrading systems work. (If they did work, they would sell for millions.) After giving up on the included indicators and systems, the daytrader's next step is to buy some indicators or a mechanical systems. Same thing. He discovers that indicator daytrading and mechanical system day trading, in general, don't work, long term. Then the new daytrader usually tries scalping...grabbing a couple of points and watching the runs leave him behind. Or trend following, or breakout entries which get him in late and frequently near the end of a run. Or chat rooms so that others can help him make decisions. None of this works and the daytrader becomes frustrated. The daytrader then takes some courses. Most end up being another variant of indicator trading. The courses don't work, so the aspiring daytrader buys morebooks looking for the holy grail of trading and quickly goes into information overload. Most other courses teach mechanical daytrading systems or indicator day trading. The problem is that mechanical daytrading systems and indicator daytrading don't work long term. Even worse, the daytrader ends up looking at the chart and picking the trades he wants from the basket of entries that the mechanical daytrading system or indicators give him. And he usually picks the losers and passes on the winners. This is a normal progression though. Most everyone starts this way. The key is to get past this mechanical level and actually use the power of your intuitive right brain. Since it's human nature to look at the patterns on the chart and pick the trades that look good, why not hone that skill and learn a relatively simple pattern recognition approach which uses your brain, and forget all the mechanical daytrading systems that don't work anyway? That's what this daytrading course is all about. It trains the best computer on earth...that's you...your brain...not the computer. The computer is now relegated as a tool. This is the most popular mini daytrading contract due to its extremely high volume, extremely high tick volume, extremely high liquidity, and almost instantaneous Internet order entry & fill. The Emini S&P's volume has broken 1,000,000 per day several times in 2004 - that's extreme liquidity. If you want to daytrade anything else, such as the Mini-Dow (YM), the DAX 30 (AH), the E-Mini NASDAQ 100 futures (NQ), the Paris CAC 40 (MT), the full size S&P futures (SP), the full size NASDAQ 100 futures (ND), Forex Currencies (FX) (such as the popular EUR/USD and others), stocks, ETF's, or if you want to position trade stocks using daily data, I simply adapt the course to whatever you want to daytrade or position trade. I already have charts built for virtually anything you may want to trade, and you get all of them as part of this course. If you want special charts made for you, I'll make them for you too. That's oneof the many benefits of true One-on-One training. The first thing to do is identify your objectives. The needs of a trader depend on several things, including your account size, average length of trade and even your location. For daytrading and swingtrading a direct access broker is considered by most (myself included) to be a necessity. It is highly recommended you do NOT use a broswer-based broker. I would like to trade part-time, but I still have another job. Is it possible to trade part time and still be profitable? Yes. Your learning curve will tend to be longer though. What I would recommend is quickly picking an area of the markets to in, whether it be swingtrading or trading in first hour of the morning etc. This will allow you to become a professional in one area of the market instead of jumping around where you will be coming up against market participants with more experience and knowledge than you. What size of account would you recommend to new traders? Every broker tends to have different requirements for a minimum balance to open the account. We feel that any trader serious about learning to trade successfully though will start with a minimum of 25K. This amount will allow you to take advantage of a setup you like almost regardless of the stock's price. It will also allow you to take positions with minimal risk to your overall account, allowing for the mistakes that traders will always run into. One thing that you must always remember when opening any trading account is that you should do so only with risk capital. As such it should only be a part of your overall portfolio and funds dedicated to a more aggressive market approach. You should not attempt to day trade full or part time if you do not have enough money to cover your basic living expenses and other foreseeable needs for at least 6 months. How long does it take to learn to trade successfully? The average time it takes for a new trader to start breaking even and turn their account around is about 6 months. Prior to the time you should expect to pay your tuition. Like any profession, the more experience you have, the better your performance. Those that start trading and are are merely deferring their tuition and in many cases that interest is very high. Do not be lured in to think that this will be a snap. You must have the drive to learn if you are to succeed. Whatis the difference between Mentoring and Consulting? People often ask what is the difference between Mentoring and Consulting? In the old days you would mentor under a master to learn the secrets of his trade. This would often take many years and would come after a long apprenticeship. In the trading world you can establish a mentoring relationship for as little as a week with Aiki or as long as a year with the $100,000 Club. During this time you will learn what the more experienced trader can teach you. With Consulting you spend a set amount of time with an experienced trader and focus on one specific area that you need help with. This is the laser method. It puts a lot of attention on a specific area for a given period of time. Often these same areas would be included during a mentoring program along with many others. The advantage of Consulting is that it is offered by the hour and is thus much less expensive. A few hours of consulting may give a trader that push that is needed to make his goals. I would like to learn how to trade but hear a lot of things about new margin
